Owned by the Fairchild Group, the station has operated in its current format since the 1990s. Its call sign stands for Canada Hong Kong Toronto. Programming is tailored to the Greater Toronto Area's Chinese community, featuring broadcasts in Cantonese and Mandarin, along with weekend shows dedicated to other diaspora communities. The station offers news, talk shows, and practical information to assist newcomers with integration.
